Proceedings Paper From empathy to compassion fatigue. How can health care practitioners develop resilience and keep their positive engagement? 

In the paper I review some risk factors of compassion stress and fatigue and contrast this with compassion satisfaction and resilience Particularly attention is given for ways to prevent compassion fatigue and burnout and to promote resilience 
A metaphor of finding or creating psychological antibodies to inoculate individuals with that and to promote a satisfying working climate despite adversity.
